Adapted from Nathaniel Hawthorne's short story. The plot centers around an eccentric doctor who invites some old acquaintances to his home for a scientific experiment involving a mysterious liquid that has the power to restore youth. As the experiment unfolds, the guests experience the rejuvenating effects, but the consequences of tampering with nature become increasingly apparent.
